Krystelle Gonzalez Papaux

Researcher and Designer

I believe that technology and human experience mutually shape one another; technology mediates our relationship to the world and influences the way we see, understand, and act on it.  My work focuses on aligning technology with human objectives to ensure it is effective, usable, and fit for purpose.

I have a passion for digital ethnography and have an academic background and degrees in Cognitive Science, User Experience (UX) Design, Cyberpsychology and New Media Studies. I've spent my career exploring how we can design digital spaces that feel natural, immersive, and emotionally resonant. Whether it’s shaping human-agent interaction, rethinking existing modalities for digital communication or envisioning future HCI paradigms, I strive to create meaningful digital experiences that empower and bring people together.

We are currently at a turning point in how we engage with technology... The next generation of digital experiences and interactions will allow us to communicate and interact as fluidly and expressively as we do IRL. My goal in that future is to ensure that human connection, sensory perception, and digital affordances work together to create technology that truly understands and adapts to us while helping us to understand each other in the process.
